We have extensive experience creating hand made textures either to be used for our decorative finishes or as collaborative projects with other painters or finishers. Below are just a few examples of some of the different kinds of textures we have created in just the past few years.
 
All of these sample boards were left unpainted as a way to better display some of the options that are available to perspective clients. Once painted or finished a multitude of techniques including traditional or contemporary glazing, dry brushing or scumbling, or just color field style color blocking can be used to work with or bring out these three dimensional patterns. At the bottom of this page are some examples of finished textured surfaces.
 
Each of these and many other styles can be applied as thinly, sparingly or irregularly as requested. We work with each client to create a look that is styled specifically to what they are looking for so if these examples are too rough, or too busy for your tastes the textures will always be fashioned to each clients directions.
 
Textures can be created with any assorted styles of brushes, rollers, sponges, rags and even unconventional implements.
